(part I : What is Economics?)

Many people just saying that Economics is about money. Is that true? Is it that simple? Basically, yes. If you learn just on the surface, but deeper you learn you’ll find that economics is not just about money. Economics is a knowledge that learn about how to manage the scarce resources to get the desire that have alternative uses.

You can imagine, every single people in the world have their own desire in their life. Sometimes, they have desire that seem hard to achieve. But is about desire broo… no one can limit you to have a big dream. But the problem is, how to get there, how to achieve that with your effort and your resources. Everyone has right to own the great desire, but remember, people should consider their abilities and even more should consider about their scarce resources. In economics, you’ll learn how to manage the resources to get the desire as much as you want.

Economics divided by two categories. First, microeconomics and macroeconomics. Microeconomics learn about the individual behavior, agents and markets, but macroeconomics learn about the entire economics. Sometime economics study about statistic to analyze economic data called econometric.

In economics you probably find sociology, politics, law, family, culture, and even genetics. There are so many sciences that have correlation with economics. That’s why it’s not unusual to see paper by, psychologists, sociologists, criminologists, political scientists and many more.
